Graduation procedure and important deadlines
All the exams need to be finished (and registered!!) at least 20 days before the expected graduation date.
The request for graduation Modulo Laurea needs to be submitted by the student by the 15th of the preceding month. To request to graduate you will need to hand in the Form (Modulo Laurea) + copy of identity document + receipt of the ALMALAUREA online form + € 16,00 of Marca da Bollo, all together, to Segreteria Studenti MM.FF.NN. – MSA, Ed.1, Centri Comuni.
Alternatively, the form (completed and signed) can be sent by email to Dr. Gianluca Esposito at the following email address: gianluca.esposito4@unina.it
It is mandatory to attach a pdf copy of the stamp duty (marca da bollo), this tax can be paid online via segrepass.
The thesis front page needs to be handed in, signed by your tutor, 15 days before the graduation day to Segreteria Studenti MM.FF.NN. – MSA, Ed.1, Centri Comuni.
Three (3) days before the graduation date you will need to submit you final ppt or pdf to tesi.biologia@unina.it
Thesis format
The thesis will need to be formatted following the template found here
(https://docs.google.com/document/d/1_IufWFLWBxN9C26vM87h0NZTTaq5wXKYyGvGOly4NsU).
We expect the thesis to be written as a research paper intended to be submitted to a peer review scientific journal.
The manuscript should be written in Times New Roman font, 11 pt, 1.5 line spacing and with paragraph spacing enabled. Please use the Chicago author-date style for the citations. The thesis should be a maximum of 15,000 words (excluding abstract, figure cations, reference and acknowledgements). There is no limit to the number of figures and tables.
