Advanced Microscopy Core

The Advanced Microscopy Core provides training, supervision and assistance to users, from sample preparation, to image acquisition and processing through deconvolution and to quantitative 3D data analysis in every branch of biological research. The microscopes are used by users in the following ways: 1) autonomous use for internal users (after training); 2) assisted use – in the form of an external service – entirely delegated to personnel appropriately and detailedly informed about the purposes of the observations and assisted in the acquisition phase by the requesting user. Inside the Microscopy Core there are the following optical and fluorescence microscopes, live-imaging set-ups and advanced confocal microscopy systems:
