PLACEMENT TEST/COURSES/VALIDATION of INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATIONS
What is the Placement Test?
The Placement Test is a test that states linguistic competence: it is structured with differentiated exercises by level. The test is organized by the University Language Center (CLA) and will take place ON-LINE on the ESOL platform.
Who can or should take the placement test?
All the students enrolled in the first year of the Master’s Degree Programs in Biological Sciences (matr. N99), Natural Sciences (matr. M05), and MARE Degree (matr. M74) for the academic year 2020/2021.
Placement Test Results
Students who attain the B2 or higher level of the test will be exempted from attending English language practices directly getting the credits required by the course of study on segrepass, whereas students who do not reach the B2 level must take the English Language Laboratory class held by CLA during the second semester.
Registration for the Placement Test
The Placement Test will take place ON-LINE, on the ESOL platform at the link of the CLA website: http://www.cla.unina.it/flex/cm/pages/ServeBLOB.php/L/IT/IDPagina/705 it is possible to book the test chousing one of the available dates.

Validation of International English Language Certifications
Students in possession of a certificate stating the attainment of the B2 level of the English language (level required according to the regulations of the CdS they belong to) issued by a MIUR recognized institution, do not have to attend the English language course, nor to take the final English exam.
N.B.: The CLA accepts certifications obtained in the last two years.
Students holding this certificate must send it to the CLA to obtain recognition of the credits due for the English language.

The certification must be sent in pdf format, while a copy of a valid identity document and self-certification form must be sent in another single file.
